Today's Notes: A couple inches fell across the Copper Country and a little dusting in areas in the Central UP. The next 5-7 days it doesn't look like we will see weather that will drop more snowfall on us. On December 6th there may be a system moving in that might drop a little snow but to far out to tell. Don't expect to hit the trails for another 2 weeks, maybe even 3 weeks unless we get a big snow storm between now and then. If you're a cross country skier you will be able to ski the MTU Trails, Churning Rapids, or Swedetown Trails for another couple days as long as temps dont get to warm. There is only about 4-6 inches on the ground so expect lots of sticks, leaves, rocks, water, and ice spots along the trails so your rock skis are recommended.

Today's Notes: A little snowfall in the Western UP and Central UP. With the big snowfall totals last year the two days before Thanksgiving it put most locations behind last years seasonal totals. Don't expect much snowfall for the next week.

Today's Notes: Much of the higher elevations in the Copper Country saw some a tiny amount of snowfall while the lower elevations saw a few flurries. Elsewhere across the UP just saw a few flurries to no snow at all. Enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend.

Today's Notes: Another day of a little snowfall, typical November weather for this time of the year. Overall the day was fairly pleasant outside to finish up a few outdoor things. The rest of the month looks to be much like it has the last week, little snow and mostly mild temperatures.

Today's Notes: Today there were a few areas seeing a couple inches to a few inches. Seasonal snow totals are roughly the same as last year at this time with a few areas higher that last year at this time like Ishpeming and Negaunee areas are a bit higher. Overall snow totals are about normal on a year over year value.

Today's Notes: Areas of the Western UP and Copper Country saw the most snowfall, areas around Ishpeming and Negaunee saw around a half inch to an inch of snowfall. Even with the lack of snow compared to last year to start the first half of November we are still running a little ahead of last years season totals across much of the UP.

Today's Notes: After a week of beautiful weather in the mid 60s and 70s almost reaching 80 degrees a few days we are back to snow. Can we get some more of that mild Indian Summer weather we saw again, highly unlikely now that we are almost halfway through the month of November. Last year at this time our snowfall totals are about the same for seasonal totals and ahead of last year in areas in Ishpeming and Negaunee. Last year the snowfall we saw started Oct 30th and there was 15 straight days of recorded snow. From Nov 1st last year snow stayed on the ground until May 19th at the Tamarack location. The western UP saw the most snowfall and the eastern UP saw about an inch of rain. The next few days temperatures should remain cool enough for snowfall but we don't appear to be seeing any significant snowfall totals for the next week. I am thinking about starting the Yooper Steve Show up around the end of the month or beginning of December.

Today's Notes: Just a little bit of snowfall through areas of the western UP and central UP. Other areas of the Upper Peninsula although cold didn't get but a few snowflakes or no snow at all. The next week looks to be a bit warmer and then the week after we should see temperatures drop back down to normal and snow return. The weekly Top 10 Snowiest videos will now become part of the Yooper Steve Show. I will probably be keeping the day as Monday but I might change the time to be later in the evening as to allow me to prepare for the show and to complete the snowfall duties, and any errands I need to do for the day.
