Each week FunintheUP gives you the TOP 10 Snowiest Locations in the Upper Peninsula. You will want to make sure you tune in LIVE on Facebook each week or check this page each week to see where the snowiest places in the Upper Peninsula are. Usually the first month or two months the locations change pretty frequently until we really get into winter and that Lake Effect snowfall really starts flying. Areas of the Copper Country, Keweenaw, and east of Munising are usually always in your TOP 10 over the long period. You can count on Calumet, Painesdale, Keweenaw county, Grand Marais, Newberry, and Ironwood areas to be very snowy through the winter season.

This week we had 1 station join the TOP 10 for the first time this season and we have a tie at the #9 position which allowed the Munising 11.1S station to remain in the Top 10 list this week.We had a pretty snowy week with the Keweenaw and eastern areas of Munising to Paradise seeing the most snow across the Upper Peninsula this week. Much of the snowfall for the week came on Feb 5th and Feb 6th.

Not a lot of snowfall this week compared to last week across the Upper Peninsula, but we did see flurries almost every day through the week. We saw the NWS Marquette office join the Top 10 this week and it comes in at the #8 position tied with Munising 11S.The top 3 positions didn't change but there was some movement between the other snow stations.

Calumet joined the Top 10 into the 7th spot, first time it has been in the Top 10 this season, probably will stay there the rest of the season too. The Keweenaw is coming on strong now and starting to take back top positions in the TOP 10 which is almost always that case, but the TOP 10 locations are all really close into week 4.
